A historic moment with a website that wasn’t ready for it.
A spotlight Curaçao has never had
Curaçao is the smallest country ever to reach the FIFA World Cup. Tens of millions are about to Google the island for the first time, and the federation’s old website wasn’t built for that kind of attention.
Hard to navigate, slow on mobile
Scores were buried, stories were hidden, and the mobile experience didn’t match how fans actually behave. People couldn’t find what they came for.
One brief, two audiences
The federation needed an institutional voice, the team needed an emotional one. A single site couldn’t serve both, so the work had to.

Split the audience, split the site
We rebuilt the work as two connected platforms: FFK for the federation, Blue Wave for the fans. Each with its own tone, layout, and priorities.
Fans see the team first
On Blue Wave, players come first: faces, stories, live scores. Inspired by KNVB / Ons Oranje, it puts the human side of football at the centre.
The federation looks like a federation
On FFK, the institutional side stays clean and useful. Press releases, league updates, documents, everything easy to find, easy to share, easy to trust.
