Profound has entered into a strategic four-year partnership with the Federashon
Futbol Kòrsou (FFK) and The Blue Wave. Through this collaboration, which began at the end of 2025, Profound is making a strategic sponsorship investment in the digital transformation,
professional branding, and international positioning of Curaçao football.
This partnership comes at a particularly timely moment, as the Curaçao national team has
historically qualified for the FIFA World Cup, drawing global attention to the island. This
momentum highlights the importance of a strong, consistent, and high-quality digital first
impression for an international audience. Expected: tens of millions of first-time discoveries
through online searches, with people looking up Curaçao because of the World Cup.
Three state-of-the-art platforms
As part of the collaboration, Profound is developing three advanced digital platforms:
● The renewed website of The Blue Wave, focused on the national team and fan
experience
● The new FFK website, with a focus on governance, regulations, and the federation’s role
● A third, interactive storytelling website that dynamically brings the rich history of Curaçao
football to life
The structure of these digital ecosystems is inspired by the successful KNVB/Ons Oranje model, clearly separating fan experience from institutional information. In close collaboration with FFK, this approach is fully tailored to the Curaçao context.
A new digital fan experience
The new website of The Blue Wave will serve as a central platform for fans, featuring a variety of innovative functionalities. Visitors will be able to:
● Follow all match results and statistics of the national team
● View player and staff profiles, including extensive data, key metrics, and performance
indicators per player
● Access the official fan shop for Blue Wave merchandise
● Purchase tickets for matches, particularly for local games in Curaçao
● Explore a comprehensive and dedicated section on women’s football and the Curaçao
women’s league
These features not only enhance fan engagement but also present a professional and
data-driven image of Curaçao football.
More than just technology
In addition to developing the platforms, Profound also provides support in:

Given the fixed schedule of FIFA matches, intensive work is currently underway to launch the new digital environments on time.
