Boudino de Jong

Lead Technology Solutions & Founder

Boudino de Jong

Boudino leads the tech team at Profound, where he guides the development and implementation of digital solutions from concept to launch. He guides and mentors the team in developing and implementing high-quality software and websites and resolves technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle.

He has a strong background in Business Administration and International Business from the University of Groningen. During his studies, Boudino gained experience as a Personal Banking Investment Advisor at ING in the Netherlands, served as Chief Innovation Officer at Don Caribe, and co-founded both Profound and Skempi – the latter being the first online Caribbean music streaming platform. After returning to Curaçao in 2015, he guided Profound’s growth into a leading tech-marketing agency.

When he’s not steering digital innovation, it’s likely you will find him out on the water – snorkeling, boating, or fishing. Boudino also enjoys exploring his creative side through digital art projects.

Gino leads Profound’s Growth Solutions with a focus on client success, team development, and strategic expansion. He plays a critical role in our (international) growth and has been a key factor in the expansion of our organisational culture. Additionally, he plays an active role in managing senior and growth accounts.

With a bachelor’s in International Business Management and a master’s in Strategic Management (magna cum laude) from Erasmus University, he balances strategic insights with creative energy. Gino and Boudino founded Profound in 2016, and Gino has been bringing vision and positivity to the office ever since.

When he’s not building brands, you’ll find him boxing, reading or behind the DJ booth. Fun fact: he knows an impressive number of facts about palm trees.

Charis leads the Client Solutions team at Profound while also leading creative strategies for our clients. She turns challenges into opportunities and ideas into results. She uses her creativity and storytelling skills to develop content that captures the attention of consumers and drives business growth, and formulates effective marketing strategies aligned with clients’ objectives, whether that’s increasing brand awareness or revenue growth.

Born in Venezuela, raised in Curaçao, and shaped in Rotterdam, she’s a proud mom of three. Outside of work, she enjoys DIY projects, dancing, podcast deep dives and road trips that are fueled by music.

Katiana keeps Profound grounded, both financially and culturally. As Lead Profound Solutions, she makes sure operations are running smoothly, team dynamics are strong, and the finances are stable.

She has a background in Business Economics (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam) and Business Administration (University of Curaçao), along with experience as the Assistant to the Consul General at the Chinese Consulate in Curaçao, later taking on the management of daily operations at a trust company. Hence, Katiana offers both structure and people-focus to the team here at Profound.

A true people person who prefers animals, she’s always the first (and last) on the dance floor at any office party.

Pepijn is a Business Solutions Intern at Profound Projects, where he focuses on gaining experience in marketing and sales, with a particular interest in the strategic side of marketing.

He studies International Business at Hogeschool Utrecht, building a strong foundation in business and developing his interest in strategy-driven marketing.

Alongside his studies, Pepijn works as a Junior Supervisor in a restaurant in the Netherlands, where he combines customer service with team leadership responsibilities.

Outside of work, he enjoys going out for coffee with friends and relaxing on a terrace when the weather is nice, as well as attending music festivals during the summer. On weekends, he follows Formula 1 closely, cheering for Max Verstappen.

Felipe holds a B.A. in Politics and International Relations from Universidad Sergio Arboleda in Bogotá and is a graduate of McKinsey & Company’s Forward Program, specializing in problem solving and communicating for impact. He brings extensive experience from leading consulting and advisory firms such as Dialectica, where he most recently served as Senior Manager in Executive Advisory.

Outside of work, Felipe is a globetrotter who has visited more than 50 countries. He trains regularly, enjoys a wide range of sports, and has a passion for board games, food, and music. He loves spending weekends with friends, family, and his two dogs, Tinto and Trufa.

Gaetano holds a Master of Science in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from ESMT Berlin and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from KU Leuven. He has gained experience across business development, account management, and public institutions, having worked at Click&Boat in Barcelona, Hive Technologies in Berlin, and as an intern with the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs at the European Parliament in Brussels. His international background and exposure to both private and public sectors give him a well-rounded, strategic perspective.

Outside of work, Gaetano is passionate about sports, having played water polo at a professional level, and he also enjoys football. He has a strong connection to the sea, with interests in sailing, fishing, and diving, and he is an avid reader with a particular love for classic and historical novels.

Lauren van der Kolk has over 20 years of international experience in the design industry. As a former Design director she has experience in setting up and managing creative, and multidisciplinary teams. Her management skills include giving fair and critical feedback to the team, leading off-sites, and motivating the team to get the very best out of each team member. As a design leader, Lauren is very detail-oriented, with a great eye for the balance in designs.

Beyond her design & management skills, Lauren’s positive attitude and her abundance of energy make her a pleasure to work with.

Lauren is a real people’s person, who understands feelings & needs very well. A fun fact about her is that she is “Mega Dyslexic” (and very proud to be).

Art Director

Juan Ca is a designer with over 10 years of experience crafting and managing brands that are hard to ignore. He has worked at three of Colombia’s leading branding agencies, shaping identities across a wide range of industries. Over the past four years, he has led design teams, discovering that the best way to learn is by teaching, something that has become a loop he genuinely enjoys.

He studied at Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano in Bogotá, Colombia, longer ago than he would probably like to admit. From early on, he saw branding as a field of endless possibilities, one that continues to challenge and inspire him to this day.

Outside of work, Juan is deeply passionate about music and tries to attend concerts and festivals whenever he can. He enjoys reading about creativity, leadership, and history, and makes an effort to travel as much as possible, believing there’s nothing more creatively enriching than experiencing new places and cultures.

Valentina is a Creative Strategist at Profound Projects with over six years of experience across journalism, NGOs, and advertising. She blends strategic thinking and storytelling to create culturally relevant brand experiences.

She studied Languages and Cultural Studies with a minor in Sociology at Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia, and holds a diploma in Strategic Communications from Universidad de La Sabana in Chía, Colombia. She has worked with organizations such as the German-Colombian Peace Institute (CAPAZ), HelpAge International, and IPG Mediabrands (now Omnicom Media Group), contributing to campaigns across LATAM.

Outside of work, she enjoys salsa dancing, running with her dogs, and cinema. Colombian by birth and culturally curious by nature, she is inspired by the intersection of insights, culture, and storytelling

After moving from Curaçao to the Netherlands at just 17, he went on to study Graphic Design at ArtEZ University of the Arts in Zwolle. Today, he lives in the Netherlands, where he continues to grow his craft and contribute to Profound’s creative work.

Outside of work, Denzel is always creating. He enjoys designing and drawing in both digital and traditional forms, constantly exploring new ways to express ideas visually.

Furthermore, she has developed graphic and communication strategies for brands in many different industries such as telecommunications, consumer goods, legal services, food, and lifestyle

Outside of work, Andrea enjoys photography, visiting museums, traveling, and manual crafts like crochet. She is also the host of the Spanish-language podcast “Cada vez más cerca de la pensión”, where she explores young adulthood and everyday life with a fun and humorous approach!

Mauricio is an Animator & Video Editor at Profound Projects, bringing over nine years of experience in motion design and visual storytelling. He creates engaging animations and video content that help brands communicate their ideas clearly and creatively.

He studied Graphic Design with a focus on Animation at Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla, Colombia. Over the years, he has worked with international studios and clients on explainer videos, branded content, social campaigns, and children’s TV productions, holding roles such as Lead Animator, Senior Motion Designer, and Character Animator.

Outside of work, Mauricio enjoys spending time with his daughter, going to the gym, playing and watching football, and gaming. He is also passionate about coffee and is currently perfecting the art of brewing an excellent V60 and espresso

Barry Irausquin

Barry holds a bachelor’s degree in law and brings a diverse and dynamic background to the Profound team. Most of his professional experience has been built around his career as a professional MMA fighter, a pursuit that continues to drive much of his dedication and discipline outside of work.

While based in the Netherlands, Barry served as the manager of his own gym, where he also taught self-defense classes to children, led MMA training sessions for teenagers and adults, and offered personal training. Beyond the gym, he supports his brother’s car rental business, demonstrating a natural entrepreneurial spirit.

That entrepreneurial side of Barry is actually what first connected him to Profound. Years ago, he turned to Profound when launching his own small business, receiving help with his website, logo, and branding. Now, in a full-circle moment, he has joined the Profound team as a Marketing Intern, eager to learn the ins and outs of everything Profound does and has to offer.

During his studies, he completed a minor in Film and Cinematography and an internship in Digital Marketing at Smove Amsterdam. His strong foundation in branding, teamwork, and customer engagement enables him to bridge creativity and business value seamlessly in every project he manages.

Outside of work, Timothy is an avid traveler and fitness enthusiast who trains 4–5 times a week and is currently taking on the challenge of mastering calisthenics. Passionate about photography and video editing, he also enjoys directing and modeling in photoshoots. Fun fact: as a kid, Timothy swore he’d never touch sushi, but after living in the Netherlands, he’s become a total fan. Bring him some spicy uramaki, and you’ll make his day!

As a Senior Development Manager, Karim is responsible for overseeing the operational delivery of Profound’s technical services, ensuring efficient project execution, optimal resource utilization, and high-quality outcomes. The role manages day-to-day technical operations, supports project delivery, and works closely with the Tech Lead, Project Managers, and developers to ensure reliable delivery, strong client experience, and continuous improvement of processes and workflows.

Karim has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Faculty of Sciences at the Lebanese University. He also did a two-month internship at a company in Lebanon, where, as a junior Java developer, he worked on projects for all Lebanon municipalities while focusing on web programming with Java.

In his free-time, you’ll likely find Karim playing basketball, hiking, camping, or listening to music.

Throughout his career, he has developed a wide range of digital systems — from Point of Sale platforms to websites and payment solutions — working both for Mexican companies and as a contractor for international organizations. Although he has taken on roles as Project Manager and Technical Leader, development remains his true passion.

Outside of work, Gabriel enjoys spending time with his family, playing racket sports (except tennis — yes, really!), videogames, and has a surprising interest in insurance. He is even a registered insurance agent in Mexico.

By analyzing performance data and staying updated on algorithm changes, he continually refines our approach and to grow within the SEO/SEA fields.

He studied Commercial Engineering at UAGRM in Bolivia and holds postgraduate diplomas in Economic Research and Digital Marketing, along with Master’s degrees in Marketing & Communication and Applied Statistics. He has worked as a Digital Marketing Specialist at both Flow.bo and AssureSoft, gaining experience in eCommerce and software development. Outside of work, he’s a passionate musician and keyboardist in a Bolivian indie rock band, and enjoys spontaneous nature trips—often finding creative ideas mid-hike. He likes to say, “I’m a musician… and in my free time, I work in digital marketing.”

With several years of experience as a UX/UI Designer at REV, and previous roles as Senior Graphic Designer at Mundo Único and Graphic Designer at Grupo Uribe and Demand Frontier, Harold brings a solid background in both digital product design and visual communication.

She has a decorated academic background, with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia and a master’s degree in Design Management (Honours) from the University of the Arts London. Barry holds a bachelor’s degree in law and brings a diverse and dynamic background to the Profound team. Most of his professional experience has been built around his career as a professional MMA fighter, a pursuit that continues to drive much of his dedication and discipline outside of work.

While based in the Netherlands, Barry served as the manager of his own gym, where he also taught self-defense classes to children, led MMA training sessions for teenagers and adults, and offered personal training. Beyond the gym, he supports his brother’s car rental business, demonstrating a natural entrepreneurial spirit.

That entrepreneurial side of Barry is actually what first connected him to Profound. Years ago, he turned to Profound when launching his own small business, receiving help with his website, logo, and branding. Now, in a full-circle moment, he has joined the Profound team as a Marketing Intern, eager to learn the ins and outs of everything Profound does and has to offer.

The role manages day-to-day technical operations, supports project delivery, and works closely with the Tech Lead, Project Managers, and developers to ensure reliable delivery, strong client experience, and continuous improvement of processes and workflows.

Karim has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Faculty of Sciences at the Lebanese University. He also did a two-month internship at a company in Lebanon, where, as a junior Java developer, he worked on projects for all Lebanon municipalities while focusing on web programming with Java.

In his free-time, you’ll likely find Karim playing basketball, hiking, camping, or listening to music.

Although he has taken on roles as Project Manager and Technical Leader, development remains his true passion.

Outside of work, Gabriel enjoys spending time with his family, playing racket sports (except tennis — yes, really!), videogames, and has a surprising interest in insurance. He is even a registered insurance agent in Mexico.

He has worked as a Digital Marketing Specialist at both Flow.bo and AssureSoft, gaining experience in eCommerce and software development. Outside of work, he’s a passionate musician and keyboardist in a Bolivian indie rock band, and enjoys spontaneous nature trips—often finding creative ideas mid-hike.
