Together with Bonhata, Profound led a digital marketing masterclass in Bonaire designed to give Bonhata members practical tools and insights to grow their online marketing efforts.
The session was led by Chris Geluk, Profound’s online marketing manager. The masterclass began with an in-depth look at one of the most important elements of any digital marketing strategy: keywords. Keywords are the foundation of both search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising and help businesses connect with the right audience at the right time.
Participants also explored how to optimize their websites for improved conversion, focusing on how to turn visitors into actual bookings or inquiries. By understanding user behavior and identifying friction points in the booking or contact process, they gained valuable insights to enhance their performance across digital platforms.
Another key takeaway was the use of UTM parameters in social media advertising. Participants learned how to properly track campaign results by tagging links in Meta Ads, helping them see exactly which ads drive traffic, engagement, and conversions, ensuring smarter decisions based on real data.
The practical approach taken in this session made it impactful. Using real-life examples based on Bonhata members’ digital performance made the content relatable and applicable.
