As part of our mission to become the best employer in the markets where we operate, Profound has recently created the position of Chief Happiness Officer. The role has a basis in Human Resources Management but gives a broader and redefined dimension to HR. We are happy to announce that this position has been filled by Judith Oleana-Ubaghs.
Originally from the Netherlands, Judith attended the Katholieke Universiteit Brabant in the Dutch city of Tilburg and graduated in 1986 as MSc. in Business Economics. She then joined the workforce of Deloitte for a few years and participated in external audits of private companies and semi-government institutions. In April of 1990, Judith moved to Curaçao, where she took on the position of Senior Auditor at the island’s Supreme Audit Institution (Algemene Rekenkamer Curaçao). She served in this position for 29 years and acquired considerable proficiency in interacting with people as a result of her audits. She has also always been driven by enthusiasm and positivity, all of which will come in handy for maintaining and raising the happiness quotient of our workforce.
As Profound’s Chief Happiness Officer, Judith will be tasked with achieving and maintaining a high overall level of employee happiness at the workplace and facilitating the overall compliance with our ‘Always Have Fun’ mantra in the organization. She is also tasked with improving our contribution to the community (Corporate Social Responsibility or CSR).
Her activities will include: recruitment of highly talented and culture fit Profound employees, onboarding of new colleagues, setup of monthly performance reports and organizing team building activities. And of course, she will ultimately be supporting and advising management on increasing general happiness at the office.
Happy to have you aboard, Judith!
