Challenge
CINEX – the import and export association of the Curaçao government – helps foreign investors and entrepreneurs navigate the process of establishing a business on the island. Their former website was outdated and difficult to navigate. They needed a modern, sleek platform that would better serve their growing network of investors and exporters. Having previously collaborated with CINEX, Profound was once again tapped to bring this vision to life, creating a fresh, user-friendly platform that fosters connections and provides valuable information.
Strategy
We took a fresh approach, completely rebuilding the CINEX website with a strong emphasis on both design and functionality. The new website would not only showcase key industry sectors such as IT, tourism and education, but we also aimed to incorporate a digital portal that would connect stakeholders around common interests. In addition, we wanted to include a section dedicated to the latest news and events relevant to Curaçao’s import and export sector.
Execution
Starting with UX/UI research, we focused on ensuring that the content would be presented clearly and intuitively. This allowed us to develop a new framework that improved the overall structure and navigation of the site. Dedicated pages were created for each topic, making it easier for users to find the information they need. Once the structure was in place, we integrated all the content to bring everything together and we made sure to implement an easy-to-use CMS. Finally, we made sure that users could easily get in touch with CINEX to explore investment opportunities.
Results
The result is a modern, user-friendly website that effortlessly combines a fresh design with practical functionality. We successfully created a platform that is easy to navigate for both visitors and the CINEX team. Users can quickly access the information they need and easily connect with each other or directly with CINEX, while the intuitive CMS allows the CINEX team to update content whenever necessary – crucial given the frequent changes in export and import regulations.
