Challenge

Baoase Luxury Resort – one of the most beautiful and romantic havens in the Caribbean – wanted to share the depth of its Balinese heritage through a brand new online navigation. Our primary objective was a complete redesign of the resort’s website, translating their vision into a digital experience that would leave a lasting impression on guests. We needed a clear strategy that combined Baoase’s Balinese style with the refined elegance of their existing brand identity, which embodies their luxurious taste.

Strategy

We kicked off this project with several in-depth meetings with the Baoase team to determine the initial phases of the process. Since Baoase is a resort that consistently strives to exceed expectations – where everyone is treated like friends and family – it was essential to capture this warmth and philosophy in both the look and feel of their website. Our online marketing team also supported the project by developing targeted marketing strategies to build a strong digital presence that would increase traffic and conversions, draw more attention to the resort’s social media platforms and strengthen customer relationships.

Execution

Instead of patching up the old site, we wiped the slate clean and began with a true blank canvas. Focusing first on creating intuitive user flows and a visually cohesive interface that fully reflects their philosophy. Sleek aesthetics, captivating photography and a stylish typeface brought the site to life, giving it a distinctive personality. To make the experience as functional as it is beautiful, we integrated a reservation system, allowing potential guests to book their stay in just a few effortless clicks. To boost visibility and engagement, we launched a series of SEA campaigns, including targeted Search and Display ads in Google.

Results

The end result is a website that not only wows visitors, but also shows off the wonderful Balinese-style amenities that Baoase has to offer. Through a seamless blend of design, visuals and storytelling, the experience paints a vivid picture of what awaits future guests. Furthermore, the targeted SEA campaigns delivered impressive results for the domain. The website saw a 170% increase in confirmed bookings through the booking engine, a 69.51% rise in active user visits, and an average increase of 317.33% across all website contact touchpoints (forms, calls, and emails), in the time immediately following the launch of the ads in late 2023. And, except for typical seasonal fluctuations in visitor interaction, this high level of engagement has continued ever since, with a bounce rate that continues to average below 60%.
